If you thought Phil Mickelson would take some much-deserved time off following his historic sixth major title at Kiawah Island, you would be wrong. Despite capturing his 45th PGA Tour win on Sunday and flying home to San Diego that night, the 50-year-old is back in action this week at Colonial to go for No. 46.
Mickelson will play the first round of the Charles Schwab Challenge alongside defending champion Daniel Berger and one of the players he fought off to win the PGA: Jordan Spieth. They tee off for the opening round on Thursday at 9:16 a.m. ET.
