The U.S. Open returned to famed Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, this week for the first time since 2016. This is the record tenth time that Oakmont has hosted the USGA’s most prestigious tournament, and it’s already slated to host several more over the next few decades.
The USGA has loaded up its future U.S. Open schedule with visits to six iconic anchor sites: Oakmont, Shinnecock Hills, Pinehurst No. 2, Pebble Beach, Winged Foot and Oakland Hills. The U.S. Open will also make stops at Riviera, Merion, Los Angeles Country Club and The Country Club in the next 15 years.
