US Open 2016: Watch Jon Rahm Hole Out for Eagle From 135 Yards

June 18, 2016

OAKMONT, Pa. — Jon Rahm, the top-ranked amateur in the world, is doing more than just making the cut at the U.S. Open.

Rahm came through with the shot of the day when he holed out for eagle from 135 yards on the par-5 12th during Saturday’s third round. He attacked the pin and spun his ball back into the cup. It was also his third straight hole to start the third round without a par. He birdied the first hole and bogeyed the second before his eagle on 12.

You can check out the shot below. It moved Rahm from five over to three over.
