How to attend a U.S. Open: Tickets to 2020 U.S. Open at Winged Foot now on sale

June 11, 2019

The 2019 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach kicks off in two days, but as they say, there’s no time like the present to look ahead to next year. Tickets for the 2020 U.S. Open at Winged Foot are now on sale. Get ’em while they’re hot. (And plentiful!)

The get-in price for a single-day ticket starts at a cool $50. There are also passes to something called a “Beer Garden Presented by Corona,” which we’re guessing will serve an ample amount of cerveza.

There’s more. Multi-day packages start at $125.00. Hospitality experiences kick off at $675. There are also tickets for Met Golf Association members and American Express cardholders. (Not yet available: media credentials. We’ll keep watching.)

Pebble is going to be epic, but Winged Foot should also be fun. It last hosted the Open in 2006, which is forever defined by Phil Mickelson’s 72nd hole meltdown that cost him an elusive championship and handed the trophy to a stunned Geoff Ogilvy. The image of a bewildered Mickelson on the 18th green has stayed with him during his struggles to finally break through and complete his career grand slam. Perhaps he’ll get it done this week at Pebble Beach.

If you aren’t at Pebble Beach and can’t swing Winged Foot, you can always look ahead to future Opens. Here’s what the USGA has in the books:

2020: Winged Foot Golf Club (West Course) – Mamaroneck, NY
2021: Torrey Pines GC (South) – San Diego, CA
2022: The Country Club – Brookline, MA
2023: Los Angeles CC – Los Angeles, CA
2024: Pinehurst No. 2 – Pinehurst, NC
2025: Oakmont CC – Oakmont, PA
2026: Shinnecock Hills GC – Southampton, NY
2027: Pebble Beach Golf Links – Pebble Beach, CA
