This week’s GOLF.com podcast features editor Alan Bastable’s discussion with two-time Tour winner Paul Goydos.
The 51-year-old Goydos goes deep on a few topics, including his magical round of 59 at the 2010 John Deere Classic and how Team USA can help itself compete better in the Ryder Cup. Spoiler: he’s got the easy fix, and it’s up to the PGA of America, not the players.
In terms of golf, Goydos said he believes he’s playing the best golf of his career, and is fully enjoying life on the Champions Tour. While some people have pointed to him as a soon-to-be golf analyst on television, Goydos tells it like it is: he’s happy living his golf life, which means 25 or so events on the Champions Tour every year. At the moment, a TV gig can wait, but for what Goydos is up to right now, check out the podcast below.
