Tom Kim had quite the time at his first party.

After the Presidents Cup last weekend, the real fun began.

As soon as the clinching putt was holed, the libations were flowing and the cigars were burning. Players and their loved ones drove around Quail Hollow in team carts splashed in confetti, and the celebration went well into the night.

And although the International team came out on the wrong end of an 18.5-11.5 defeat, they did their part to make sure the afterparty was a fun one.

“I was fortunate enough to be there,” said GOLF’s Subpar co-host Colt Knost. “Lemme tell ya — the International team knows how to party.”

The life of the party? None other than overnight cult hero Tom Kim.

Now, the 20-year-old might not even be old enough to drink, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t get down. Much like he was inside the ropes throughout the week, at the afterparty, he was one of the main attractions.

“No one knows this,” Kim said on this week’s episode of Subpar. “But I’ve never been to a party. That was my first official one. I didn’t drink — I just hammered water. But it was fun. I got to dance a little bit, I’d be dreaming of that since I woke up.”

Kim went on to say that the experience was extra special because of the people who were there. Not many people get to party for the first time alongside Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa. Not bad for a first-timer.

“It’s like a dream for a 20-year-old,” Kim said. “Can you believe that I’m partying with these people? That was a special one.”
