Speculation has been rampant, with rumors confirmed only by anonymous sources.
On Sunday, Tiger Woods made it official.
In a post shared on his social media accounts, the 15-time major champion announced that he is in a relationship with Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr.
“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” the post read, alongside two photos of the pair together. “We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time, we would appreciate privacy to all those close to our hearts.”
The post verifies what the tabloids have been touting since mid-February, when Woods and Vanessa Trump were seen together at the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines, along with her daughter, Kai, one of five children she had with Trump Jr. during their 12-year marriage.
Kai Trump attends the Benjamin School, a private day school in Palm Beach, Fla., where Woods’ two children, Sam and Charlie, are also enrolled.
The personal news comes in the midst of a professional lull for Woods, who announced on March 11 that he had ruptured his left Achilles tendon while training and practicing at home. Woods had the tear surgically repaired, but no timeline has been announced for his return.
