Tiger Woods tees off in his first official PGA Tour start since July on Thursday at the 2023 Genesis Invitational. Here’s what you need to know to watch Tiger’s opening round at Riviera, including his tee time, playing partners and complete streaming and TV schedules.

When Tiger Woods tees off Thursday

Tiger Woods’ tee time for Thursday’s opening round at the Genesis is set for 3:04 p.m. ET/12:04 p.m. PT. He’ll start on the front nine for Round 1, before switching to a back-nine start on Friday.

Woods’ playing partners on Thursday are two of the biggest stars on the PGA Tour: Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas. Tiger has a long history with both players. Thomas has become one of his best friends over the past few years, while McIlroy, long an admirer of the 15-time major champion, has worked closely with Tiger and the PGA Tour in its battle with LIV Golf.

Riviera is one of the most historic courses the PGA Tour visits every year, and it was the site of Tiger’s Tour debut way back in 1992. Tiger also serves as host of the Genesis Invitational, while the tournament supports his foundation. Despite all of that, Woods has a poor record on the course at this event.

On Tuesday, Woods provided an update on his injury recovery to reporters during his press conference. He also commented on the ongoing fight with LIV Golf, and how the presence of LIV pros will affect the Masters Champions Dinner in April.
