Back in August, two of the biggest sports stars on the planet, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, announced they had teamed up to launch a new tech-driven competition for top PGA Tour players. The new company, TMRW Sports, promises to “harness technology to build progressive approaches in sports, media, and entertainment,” and it includes a new Monday night league known as the TGL.
The TGL will be made up of 18 total PGA Tour players, with six teams of three participating in 15 regular-season matches. The semifinals and finals follow, with each match being played in a high-tech complex. Broadcasts will last two hours. Sounds fun, right? We agree.

Although the new primetime golf league won’t start until 2024, the TGL is getting lots of attention already because of the growing roster of superstars committing.
In addition to Woods and McIlroy, the TGL roster is loaded with talent, and now includes a total of nine of the 18 players. All told, the players have combined for 26 major titles — so it’s pretty impressive stuff.
Who’s currently on the TGL roster?
After announcing on Tuesday that reigning U.S. open champ Matt Fitzpatrick is now a part of the TGL roster, the lineup is absolutely stacked. Here’s a closer look at who will be playing in the TGL — with more spots to be filled in the next year or so.

Tiger Woods (15 major titles/82 PGA Tour wins)
Rory McIlroy (4 major titles/23 PGA Tour wins)
Justin Thomas (2 major titles/15 PGA Tour wins)
Jon Rahm (1 major title/9 PGA Tour wins)
Collin Morikawa (2 major titles/5 PGA Tour wins)
Adam Scott (1 major title/14 PGA Tour wins)
Matt Fitzpatrick (1 major title/1 PGA Tour win, eight on the DP World Tour)
Max Homa (6 PGA Tour wins)
Billy Horschel (7 PGA Tour wins)
While nobody knows for sure how this new venture will turn out, at the very least, stacking the TGL roster with the talent they have makes the new Monday league that much more appealing.
