What’s it like sharing a rental house with Scottie Scheffler? Ask Sam Burns

When Sam Burns and Scottie Scheffler room together while on the road these days, it certainly isn’t like what it used to be.

Now they’ll come back to their rental home after a round and see kids crawling, playing and wrestling on the floor.

“It looks a lot different now with babies in the house for sure,” said Burns, while appearing on GOLF’s latest episode of the Subpar podcast. “It’s a lot more fun now coming home to the boys and just kind of hanging out with them and playing with them and watching them, it’s great entertainment.

“It’s funny how it’s evolved over our years on Tour,” Burns continued. “Really it’s pretty relaxed. We come home and the girls have either cooked or we order food and just hang out. Golf isn’t really talked about very much. Maybe we’ll watch a show or sports or whatever it is but kind of overall it’s pretty chill.”

Burns also added one other nugget about Scheffler.

“I don’t know if people know this, but that guy eats more food than anyone I have seen in my life,” Burns said. “Like it’s unbelievable. We’ll order food to the house and he’ll get like three entrees and two appetizers and I’m like, What? And he eats all of it. It’s insane.”
