The 2020 RBC Heritage Classic is already at the halfway point, and while several stars won’t be around to play the weekend after missing the cut, tournament leader Webb Simpson, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Kopeka and a slew of other big names are set to battle it out again on Saturday at Harbour Town. Here’s what you need to know to follow the third round action.
Previewing RBC Heritage Round 3
After firing a second consecutive round of six-under-par 65, Webb Simpson leads the field by one shot. The six-time PGA Tour winner has never claimed the RBC Heritage title, but he’s finished in the top 16 in each of the last three years and was as high as solo second back in 2013.
One player who could give Simpson a run for his money over the weekend is Bryson DeChambeau. After a T3 finish at last week’s Charles Schwab Challenge, DeChambeau fired rounds of 67-64 to trail Simpson’s lead by one shot.
Yet another player worth watching is World No. 4 Brooks Kopeka, whose second-round 66 launched him 10 shots up the leaderboard into T6 — only three shots behind Simpson’s lead.
