J.J. Spaun just notched the biggest win of his career in the most dramatic way possible: draining a 64-foot putt on the 18th hole to win the U.S. Open.

And on hand to witness his triumph: Spaun’s wife, Melody, and the couple’s two daughters, Violet and Emerson.

It was a sweet scene as the family came together next to the 18th green to celebrate Spaun’s triumph, and Spaun carried his older daughter, Emerson, over the bridge to the scoring area as the gallery chanted his name. NBC’s camera rolled when the family gathered again as Spaun exited the scoring area to share hugs of congratulations.

J.J. and Melody were married on July 12, 2019. Their first daughter, Emerson, was born in 2020, followed by Violet in 2023.

This year, the family was spotted at the Masters Par 3 Contest, and J.J. has occasionally shared snapshots of their family life on his Instagram page.
