Days removed from a historic Phil Mickelson PGA Championship victory, we can now officially put Kiawah Island in the books. And now it’s time to look ahead.
The 2022 PGA Championship is headed to Southern Hills in Tulsa, Okla. It was originally slated for Trump Bedminster in New Jersey but those plans were canceled in the wake of the January storming of the United States capital.
Southern Hills has hosted the PGA Championship four times before, most recently in 2007 when Tiger Woods triumphed over Woody Austin in the sweltering heat. High temperatures for the tournament that week hung right around 100 degrees. Get excited, folks!
From there, the PGA heads up to what will surely be a chillier location: Rochester, N.Y., and Oak Hill Country Club. From New York, it heads to Kentucky, and then to North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, California and so on. No major championship gets around better than the PGA. For the full slate of nine future host courses, locations and years, check out the listing below.
