Netflix’s highly anticipated PGA Tour series “Full Swing” debuts this week. Here’s how to watch it and everything else you need to know about the documentary.

How to watch Netflix’s ‘Full Swing’

It’s been a year and a half since Netflix first announced that it would be creating a new documentary series following PGA Tour stars during the 2021-22 season. Now it’s finally time for fans to get their first look.

On Sunday, Netflix offered a sneak preview of the very first episode, but that only lasted for 24 hours. The official release date for “Full Swing” is Feb. 15. As is often the case with Netflix shows, all of the episodes will be dropped at once, so you can binge the entire series in one sitting, if you’re so inclined.

The show will only be available to Netflix subscribers, so if you don’t already have an account (or the login info for someone else’s account) you’ll need to sign up to watch. The cheapest option is the “Basic” plan, which is $6.99/month and includes ads. The monthly price for a “Standard” plan is $15.49. You can sign up for a new Netflix account here.

Netflix’s ‘Full Swing’: What you need to know

The PGA Tour first broke the news about the Netflix “Full Swing” series on Sept, 2, 2021, promising extensive behind-the-scenes coverage of your favorite PGA Tour stars.

The idea was inspired by Netflix’s popular “Drive to Survive” series that documents Formula 1 racing and has been credited with growing interest in the sport, especially in the U.S.

Among the companies involved in the production of “Full Swing” is Box to Box Films, which also worked on “Drive to Survive.”

According to GOLF’s own Sean Zak, who viewed the series early and reviewed it here, “Full Swing” consists of eight episodes, with each episode focused on one specific player.

It’s also important to note that Netflix picked what turned out to be a transformational season in pro golf, which included the rise of LIV Golf and all of the controversy around it, all of which is covered in the new series.
