The Memphis 11 10ers apparently have a uniform.
Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and Shane Lowry had the same scores entering the third round of the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational. The trio had the same starting time – 11:10 a.m. local time Saturday at TPC Southwind.
The trio had the same color shirt and the same color pants.
Mickelson wore a navy blue collared shirt and gray pants. Johnson wore a navy blue collared shirt and gray pants. Lowry wore a navy blue collared shirt and gray pants. The 11 10ers all matched.
“They’re all in matching outfits,” announcer Jim Nantz said during the CBS broadcast.
“I was going to say. Team effort,” analyst Nick Faldo said.
Their accessories were slightly different.
Mickelson wore a blue hat and black shoes. Johnson wore a white hat and white shoes. Lowry wore a blue hat and white shoes.
It’s unlikely the coordination was coordinated. It’s unlikely they’d get lost in a crowd, too.
“It’s the band,” Faldo said.
