Memorial Tournament picks: Subpar hosts’ best bets for Muirfield Village

Keegan Bradley played beautifully two weeks ago at the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club, finishing in a tie for eighth as Scottie Scheffler rolled to victory to claim major title No. 3.

Subpar co-host Colt Knost expects Bradley’s top-tier play to continue this week when the PGA Tour visits Muirfield Village for the Memorial Tournament. Bradley to top 20 (+150) at the Memorial is Knost’s Fanatics Sportsbook pick of the week.

“Keegan Bradley hits it long, hits it high, has been playing some great golf and possibly could be a playing captain this year,” Knost said. “Give me Keegan Bradley plus-150 to top 20.

Drew Stoltz, Knost’s co-host, likes J.J. Spaun to top 20 (+150) as his pick of the week.

“I’m going with a guy coming off a good week. Sixth at Colonial. He has four top 10s on the year,” Stoltz said. “Ball-striking has just been phenomenal all year. Currently inside the top 12 for the Ryder Cup. Also a name you wouldn’t have had probably a year-and-a-half ago.”

Scheffler headlines a loaded field that includes all of the PGA Tour’s top players except for Rory McIlroy, who skipped the event and will tee it up next week in Canada. Scheffler is the defending champion and a massive favorite to win at +280. Xander Schauffele has the second-best odds to win at +1400.
