Masters week is officially here, although Tuesday might need a mulligan. Storms wreaked havoc on Augusta National Golf Club and the course closed late in the morning. Wednesday’s forecast isn’t much better, but it is at least better.

According to weather.com, scattered thunderstorms are expected in the morning, with them expected to become more widespread in the afternoon. This is a huge bummer for those invested in the Masters Par-3 Contest, which is making its return this year after a two-year hiatus.

Now for the good news — the forecast for the weekend looks great! Starting Thursday, there isn’t any rain in the forecast for the rest of the week. The sun should be shining and we shouldn’t expect any delays or stoppages during play. Temps are expected to hover between the high 50s and low 70s, so it’ll be optimal quarter-zip weather.

If you’re one of the lucky few with grounds passes for the weekend, grab your sunglasses, leave the umbrella in the car and enjoy the tournament.
