This major winner’s new interview series is a fresh take on golf, grit and life

LPGA star Jennifer Kupcho has always been sort of a maverick. Toward the end of a spectacular amateur career, she became the first woman golfer from Wake Forest to win the NCAA D1 individual golf championship while a junior in 2018. Later that year, she emerged from the LPGA qualifying tournament with a tour card but decided to wait to join the circuit because she wanted to play her last season for the Demon Deacons. Then she turned heads in April 2019 when she won the inaugural Augusta National Women’s Amateur by going five under in the last six holes. She turned pro soon after, and then three years later — almost to the day — she won her first LPGA tournament and major when she captured the 2022 Chevron Championship.

All that is to say, Kupcho has keen insight into what it takes to work hard, stay focused and be a winner. It’s this perspective that’s motivated Jen and her longtime sponsor Protiviti to launch a new video podcast called “Cupcakes with Kupcho.”

Far from standard athlete-branded content, “Cupcakes with Kupcho” invites fans into Jen’s world in a way rarely seen in professional golf. Across six episodes, she shares personal insights, career moments and behind-the-scenes stories from tour and real life, all while mixing in spirited games and engaging discussions with guests. Bonus material that the team can’t fit into six episodes will be available on Protiviti’s YouTube channel and a dedicated Instagram account (@CupcakeswithKupcho).

Of particular note, episode three, “Giving Back,” will be released on May 28 to help amplify World Hunger Day. It features a special guest appearance by fellow Protiviti ambassador and major champion Matt Fitzpatrick. The show highlights their shared commitment to community impact through initiatives like Birdies for Meals, which, to date, has delivered more than 500,000 meals since its 2021 launch.

While the lighthearted title and cupcake theme add a fun, alliterative hook, the heart of the series is so much more — offering fans a side of Jen that goes beyond the fairways. It’s an innovative and personal way to connect with one of the LPGA’s most compelling players, blending authentic storytelling with Protiviti’s core values of collaboration, care and excellence.
