Louis Oosthuizen’s Ball Bounces Off J.B. Holmes’ for Incredible Masters Ace

April 10, 2016

AUGUSTA, Ga — We already saw aces on the 16th hole from Shane Lowry and Davis Love III on Sunday at the Masters, but Louis Oosthuizen topped them both with the craziest shot we have seen all week.

But give J.B. Holmes the assist.

Holmes stuck his tee shot close on the 181-yard hole, and Oosthuizen was up next. His ball landed in the middle of the green and started tracking toward the hole and bumped into Holmes’ ball. At first it looked as if he had knocked Holmes’ ball into the cup, but it just missed. Oosthuizen’s ball picked up pace and dropped directly into the cup.

And yes, Holmes was allowed to move his ball back to its original spot.

It’s the first time three holes-in-ones have been made on the 16th in one round. You can watch the shot below.
