Jordan Spieth Buys Hunter Mahan’s Dallas Mansion for $7 Million

January 19, 2016

When you become the most financially successful golfer in the world, it’s time to upgrade the bachelor pad, and that’s exactly what Jordan Spieth reportedly did.

According to Dallas Real Estate blogger Candy Evans, the two-time major winner scooped up Hunter Mahan’s old Dallas home for a cool $7 million in a sale the two reportedly brokered during a visit from Spieth.

After the 22-year-old Spieth made a record-setting $22 million in on-course earnings in 2014-15, the Dallas native signed a deal with Coca-Cola this year, providing him an influx of cash and perhaps an incentive to drop some serious money on a new crib.

Spieth even got the five-bedroom, 16,665 square-foot home at a discount from the original asking price of $9.5 million. It pays to have friends I guess.

The Preston Hollow home will allow Jordan to up his game with a workout room and golf simulator. He’ll even be able to blow off some steam with an indoor basketball court and outdoor pool.
