Last spring, as he coasted to the top of the golf world amid a string of impressive wins, Jordan Spieth purchased a “starter house” in his hometown of Dallas for a cool $2.27 million. The five-bedroom home had a wine closet and a game room, and was a major step up from the smaller bachelor pad he’d been living in before. Now the time has come to sell it.
As his star continues to rise, this month Jordan bought an even bigger, more luxurious house, for more than $7 million, with a basketball court and mural of Augusta National, the site of his triumph in 2015. It formerly belonged to his fellow pro Hunter Mahan.
