John Daly To Be Featured In ESPN Documentary

May 13, 2015

What if I told you a golfer would have as many wives as PGA Tour wins? John Daly’s life is fit for a movie. And now it will be.

In volume 3 of ESPN’s acclaimed ’30 for 30′ documentary series, the life and times of one of golf’s most interesting characters will be chronicled in the upcoming episodes.

Daly’s life is already movie-esque. He won the 1991 PGA Championship as the ninth alternate, was later named Rookie of the Year and then captured a Claret Jug at the 1995 British Open held at St. Andrews. Two decades later, Daly has only added one additional PGA Tour win after his career was derailed by alcohol and gambling.

Off the course, Daly has released two music albums and is soon to be married for the fifth time. He’s suing the PGA Tour over an incident that happened in 2007.

Like everything in Daly’s life these days, the documentary is guaranteed to entertain. Click on the link to see what should be at least a couple of topics covered in the film.
