Brandt Snedeker Won AT&T National With Clubs Valued at $112

February 17, 2015

What Brandt Snedeker accomplished over the weekend might give hope to millions of cash-strapped golfers across the country.

Snedeker finished 22-under to win the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on Sunday in Pebble Beach, Calif., and he did so with a driver, putter and irons valued at barely more than $100. Snedeker took home more than $1.2 million with a core set of clubs the Value Guide says are worth about $112 in trade-in value.

According to the Golf Channel, Snedeker used a 9-year-old putter, 5-year-old driver and a 4-year-old set of irons. He used a 2010 TaylorMade Burner SuperFast driver, Bridgestone J40 irons and an Odyssey White Hot XG Rossie putter. Golf Channel said he first started using the putter in 2005.
