The 2020 BMW Championship continues on Saturday, August 29, with the third round at Olympia Fields CC. Here’s what you need to know to watch the action on Saturday.

Previewing BMW Championship Round 3

As the 2003 U.S. Open host, it should be no surprise that Olympia Fields is playing like a major championship — and with only two of the 69 players in the field are under par through two rounds, it couldn’t be more different from last week, when Dustin Johnson torched the field in Boston with a score of 30 under par.

Rory McIlroy and Patrick Cantlay have a one-shot edge over the field at 1-under overall. McIlroy is seeking his first victory since November, while Cantlay hasn’t won since the 2019 Memorial.

Tiger Woods needed a solid day on Friday to put himself in position to make a run this weekend, but unfortunately he went in the other direction, dropping five shots and 20 spots down the leaderboard in T55 after a second round of 75. He’s 8-over and nine shots shy of the lead.

Saturday is shaping up to be an exciting Moving Day, with 20 players within four shots of McIlroy and Cantlay’s lead, including Dustin Johnson, Tony Finau, Adam Scott and Bryson DeChambeau, who won the U.S. Amateur at Olympia Fields in 2015.

Below you will find everything you need to watch Saturday’s third round of the BMW Championship.
