The 2020 BMW Championship continues on Friday, August 28, with the second round at Olympia Fields CC. Here’s what you need to know to watch the action on Friday.

Previewing BMW Championship Round 2

A crowded leaderboard awaits the Top 70 players in the FedEx Cup standings as they begin the second round at the BMW. Some of the field is fighting for the lead in the standings while others are battling to keep their seasons alive and earn a spot in next week’s Tour Championship.

Tiger Woods finds himself in the latter group and needs to finish near the top of the leaderboard to make it to East Lake. He didn’t go low in the opening round, but birdies were hard to come by for everyone on Thursday (especially compared to last week at the Northern Trust) so he’s far from out of it despite a 73. Woods tees off at 2:09 p.m ET on Friday.

Justin Thomas, on the other hand, is firmly among those with one eye on the FedEx Cup title. A large group of other big names are also in contention on the eve of the second round, including major champions Patrick Reed, Rory McIlroy, Louis Oosthuizen and World No. 1 Dustin Johnson

Below you will find everything you need to watch Friday’s second round of the BMW Championship.
