In the run-up to Veteransâ Day and beyond, Hunter Mahan and Tempur-Pedic are teaming up to thank and give back to veteransâmore than just one day a year.
By partnering with the Deutsche Bank Championship (where Mahan helped build care packages for veterans), the Crowne Plaza Invitational and the Greenbrier Classic, Tempur-Pedic hopes to provide a unique fan experience for veterans while further honoring their service. For every 100 times the #BeyondVeteransDay hashtag is used on Twitter through the end of 2015, Tempur-Pedic will give a mattress to a veteran.
âItâs great when companies find creative ways to give back,â said Mahan. âSo far weâve had the hashtags used thousands of times, so weâre giving away a bunch of mattresses to some people who are very deserving. Theyâre protecting us while we sleep.â
