Of course you know by now that the 2020 Masters is in November, not April, after a postponement due to the pandemic. Well, that date is rapidly approaching, and we received a welcome reminder today.

The Masters’ official Twitter account, often dormant except around tournament time or when some tournament-related news breaks, tweeted a 77-second Masters promo at 11 a.m. ET on Thursday — exactly four weeks before the first round of the Masters begins at Augusta National.

It’s narrated by NBC Sports’ Jimmy Roberts, who begins: “For more than 80 years, the Masters Tournament has been a rite of spring. The azaleas and dogwoods waking the golfing world from its winter slumber.”

We’d love to tease more of it right now, but that would lessen the impact of a brilliant video that’s sure to get you pumped for a November Masters. The hype has certainly worked for Twitter. In just an hour the promo has garnered over 1,000 retweets and 5,000 likes, and it’s been viewed more than 60,000 times. Check it out below. The Masters is Nov. 12-15.
