Wyndham Championship Subpar picks: Favorite bets of the week

The final stop of the PGA Tour regular season kicks off Thursday at Sedgefield Country Club with the Wyndham Championship.

It’s the last chance for pros to fight for a spot in the FedEx Cup Playoffs, which begin with next week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, Tenn.

The best way to secure a playoff spot? Win, of course.

Aaron Rai, Keegan Bradley and Matt Fitzpatrick are the betting favorites at +2000 to win, although Subpar podcast co-hosts Colt Knost and Drew Stoltz are looking elsewhere to make their Fanatics Sportsbook bets of the week.

Knost picked Si Woo Kim to top 20 (+175) while Stoltz went with Bud Cauley to top 20 (+280).

“I got the man who is sitting 51st right now in the FedEx Cup standings, just coming off a week off, was over at the Open Championship, little time to regroup after this home stretch, Bud Cauley,” Stoltz said. “Super accurate off the tee, phenomenal iron player, back on bermuda grass that he’s accustomed to. I love that.”
