The qualifying road to the 80th U.S. Women’s Open at Erin Hills has been set, and it will be paved with some familiar courses.

On Wednesday, the USGA announced the 26 qualifying sites for the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open, including several venues that have previously hosted a U.S. Women’s Open.

Of the 26 qualifying sites, 23 will be in the United States, while Japan, Canada and Italy will each have one 36-hole qualifier.

Among the 23 U.S. sites that will host a qualifier are Olympic Club’s Lake Course (San Francisco, Calif.), Druid Hills Golf Club (Atlanta, Ga.), Salem Country Club (Peabody, Mass.) and Del Paso Country Club (Sacramento, Calif.).

All four courses have previously played host to a U.S. Women’s Open.

Reigning U.S. Women’s Open champion Yuka Saso won her first U.S. Women’s Open at Olympic Club in 2021 when she defeated Nasa Hataoka in a playoff. Saso won the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open at Lancaster Country Club by three strokes over Hinako Shibnuno. Betsy Rawls won her first U.S. Women’s Open at Druid Hills in 1951. Janet Alex won the 1982 U.S. Women’s Open at Del Paso Country Club, while Babe Didrikson Zaharias and Hollis Stacy won titles at Salem Country Club in 1954 and 1984, respectively.

This will be the first U.S. Women’s Open played at Erin Hills in Hartford, Wis. Brooks Koepka won the 2017 U.S. Open at the resort in 2017. Erin Hills will become the 16th course to host the men’s and women’s U.S. Open.
