The 2025 U.S. Open, the third major of the year, goes down this week at Oakmont, and two of the biggest stars in the game — Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau — lead the betting favorites. Here is everything you need to know about the U.S. Open odds and other betting favorites to start the week.

U.S. Open betting favorites

Heading into the 10th U.S. Open held at Oakmont, a familiar face is on top of the betting favorites: World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. Scheffler comes into the week with +280 odds to win.

Scheffler won his third major title at last month’s PGA Championship. That was one of three victories in his last four starts, which has him eyeing a fourth major win.

Odds to win the U.S. Open

But the player in second place is more of a surprise. Rory McIlroy, the World No. 2, won the Masters in April, one of three PGA Tour wins this season. But after a poor showing at the RBC Canadian Open, McIlroy has been relegated to third in the betting odds at +1100.

Taking his place in second is defending U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau, who enters the week with +750 odds to win. DeChambeau, who played well at the Masters and PGA, will be hunting for his third national championship title this week.

Former U.S. Open champion Jon Rahm is in fourth at +1200, with two-time major winner Xander Schauffele behind him at +2200.
