The second round of the 2025 U.S. Open begins Friday morning at Oakmont Country Club. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament on Friday, including full U.S. Open TV coverage, streaming info and Round 2 tee times.

How to watch U.S. Open on Friday

J.J. Spaun has been knocking on the door of a second-career victory all season. But this week’s different. After a sparkling opening-round 66 at Oakmont, Spaun is leading the 2025 U.S. Open. Fifty-four holes stand between him and payback for two runner-up finishes this year.

In a difficult Round 1, Oakmont showed its notorious teeth, sending several stars’ scores soaring. Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson shot 74. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau could only manage one shot better, with matching 73s.

2025 U.S. Open Round One Highlights

Round 1 of the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont is in the books. J.J. Spaun leads the way, but Thriston Lawrence, Brooks Koepka, Jon Rahm, and several others are close behind. Relive the action here.

But as we head into Friday’s second round, there’s plenty of golf left to be played. And with the winning score expected to be near par, all of those stars are very much still in this thing.

You can watch the second round of the U.S. Open on Peacock, which will air coverage starting at 6:30 a.m. ET. NBC will open the TV coverage at 1 p.m. ET. Featured group streaming coverage can be found on PeacockUSOpen.com and the USGA app.
