How to watch TGL Playoffs semifinals on Tuesday
Monday night saw the first-ever TGL Playoff match. No. 4 seed New York Golf Club put together a huge upset, defeating No. 1 seed Los Angeles Golf Club 6-4 to eliminate L.A. from the playoffs and advance to next week’s final.
But before we get to the finals, the second seminfinal match needs to be played. And that one goes down Tuesday night.
In the second semifinals match, No. 2 seed Bay Golf Club will take on No. 3 seed Atlanta Drive Golf Club.
Ludvig Aberg, Shane Lowry and Min Woo Lee will play for the Bay Golf Club Tuesday night, facing off against Atlanta’s Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay and Billy Horschel.
The winner of Tuesday’s match will face New York Golf Club in a best-of-three final series next week.
The format for Tuesday’s playoff match will be the same as the regular season. The teams compete on a nine-hole simulator course in triples, and then alternate appearing in one-hole singles matches. Short game shots and putting will happen live around the stadium’s high-tech green. Each team will begin the match with three Hammers that can be used at any time.
