At this week’s Mexico Open at VidantaWorld in Vallarta, players have been treated to beautiful weather and opportunities for low scores. Fifty-four-hole-leader Aldrich Potgeiter, a 20-year-old rookie from South Africa, took advantage on Friday, firing a sizzling 61 to take a four-shot lead at the tournament’s halfway point.
But after the third round, Potgeiter’s lead was cut to just one shot over 31-year-old American Brian Campbell. Both players are seeking their maiden PGA Tour victories this week.
Of course, in addition to the many perks that accompany a win on Tour, there’s also a big check stake. A total payout of $1.26 million will go to the winner, with six figures awarded all the way down to 18th place.
Check out the complete payouts for the 2025 Mexico Open below. The total purse is $7 million.
