The 2025 Mexico Open at VidantaWorld begins this week in Vallarta, and two-time PGA Tour winner Akshay Bhatia is the betting favorite. Here is everything you need to know about the Mexico Open odds and other betting favorites to start the week.

The betting favorites

Having just fininshed off a stretch that featured multiple Signature Events, many top pros are taking this week off. That allows Akshay Bhatia to take over the position of betting favorite. Bhatia opens the week with +1400 odds-to-win.

Bhatia has two PGA Tour wins on his resume, with the most recent coming at the 2024 Valero Texas Open. He’s currently ranked No. 30 in the Official World Golf Ranking, the top-ranked player in the Mexico Open field.

Just behind Bhatia in the odds list is Rasmus Hojgaard, who comes into the week with +1800 odds-to-win.

Filling out the top 5 are three players tied at +2200 odds-to-win. Those players are Kurt Kitayama, Sam Stevens and Patrick Rodgers, who conteded for the win at the Genesis Invitational before falling to T3.
