It’s an exciting leaderboard at the Genesis Invitational halfway point, with Davis Thompson leading the charge at eight under par — but there is a strong contingent of stars lurking just behind him.

Thompson, 25, is seeking his second career tour win, after claiming his first at last year’s John Deere Classic. He’ll tee it up alongside Scheffler in Round 3 at 2:35 p.m. ET.
