At this point, PGA Tour pros are in the midst of major season. Even when they aren’t playing a major, as is the case this week, there are implications for the next of golf’s big four events.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and veteran Jordan Spieth are certainly among those playing the CJ Cup Byron Nelson with one eye on Quail Hollow and the 2025 PGA Championship. And both are looking for their first wins of 2025 at TPC Craig Ranch.
After teeing off in the afternoon wave on Thursday, Scheffler and Spieth’s grouping will tee off in Friday’s morning wave.
Scheffler and Spieth will get Friday’s second round started at 8:23 a.m. ET with Si Woo Kim.
