The 2024 PGA Tour season comes to an end this week at the 2024 RSM Classic, and we’re picking a Tour newcomer as our long shot to win. Here’s our long-shot pick, the RSM Classic odds, betting favorites and everything else you need to know.
RSM Classic odds: Long-shot bet
Our long-shot pick for this week’s season-ending RSM Classic is Jacob Bridgeman, who comes into the week with +6000 odds to win.
The 24-year-old, up-and-coming pro from South Carolina has never recorded a top-10 finish in his brief Tour career. But his recent results show that he has saved his best golf for the end of the season.
Bridgeman’s last three finishes look like this: T29, T14 and T12 at last week’s Butterfield Bermuda Championship. He’s shown he can contend, now he just needs to take the next step into the winner’s circle.
If you bet $10 on Bridgeman to get the victory and he makes it happen, you’ll walk away with $600. Consider placing additional small bets on Bridgeman to finish top 10 and top 20 for insurance.
Looking for more long-shot bets for the RSM Classic? This week’s honorable mentions are Lucas Glover (+4500) and Justin Lower (+4500).
RSM Classic odds: The favorites
The betting favorite for the RSM Classic is the defending champion, Ludvig Aberg, who starts the week at +1000 odds to win.
Davis Thompson opens in second with +2200 odds, followed by six players tied at +2800.
