The opening day of play at this year’s Presidents Cup saw some tense, competitive moments, with both teams chirping at each other.

But at the end of Thursday, the American team had the last laugh, dominating all five matches to open up a massive 5-0 lead.

On Friday, the International team will have a chance to fight back and even the score, with five more matches on tap. But Friday’s matches will be played under the foursomes format, rather than four-ball as was the case Thursday.
