Even though the 2024 PGA Tour season is officially over, many of the game’s brightest stars are in action this week at the 2024 Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, hosted by Tiger Woods.

It’s not on official Tour event, but there is real money on the line for the players, and real bets available for the rest of us. Here are the complete Hero World Challenge odds and betting favorites to start the week.

Hero World Challenge odds: The betting favorites

For the first time since early September, Scottie Scheffler is back between the ropes this week to try to add another win (albeit an unofficial one) to his incredible 2024 season, one that has made him a favorite to win Player of the Year.

Scheffler is the prohibitive betting favorite at the Hero, opening the week with +250 odds-to-win, and for good reason. Scheffler has spent a lengthy stint atop the Official World Golf Ranking thanks to seven PGA Tour wins this year. Among them was his second major title at the Masters.

Further supporting Scheffler’s odds is the fact that he’s also the defending champion this week, having won the 2023 Hero World Challenge by three with a final score of 20 under.

But Scheffler will face a large group of proven winners in the 20-player field. American stars Justin Thomas and Patrick Cantlay are tied for second in odds-to-win at +900, with Ludvig Aberg coming in fourth at +1100.
