The PGA Tour heads to Riviera this week for the 2024 Genesis Invitational, and we’re picking a long shot who is hoping to secure his second PGA Tour win. Here’s our pick, the Genesis Invitational odds, betting favorites and everything else you need to know.

Genesis Invitational odds: Long-shot bet

For this week’s Genesis, where Tiger Woods is making his PGA Tour return, we’re picking another long-shot who has winning experience, albeit less than Tiger: Tom Hoge, at +8000.

Hoge is a 34-year-old Tour veteran, and although he only has one win in his career, it was somewhat recent at the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where he finished two strokes ahead of Jordan Spieth.

In 2024, Hoge has already made six starts and only missed one cut. Two weeks ago at Pebble Beach, he finished T6. He kept the solid play going last week, where he finished T17 at the WM Phoenix Open. At last year’s Genesis, he ended up T14.

If you entrust $10 on Hoge to win and he pulls it off, you’ll earn $800. For insurance, consider placing additional small bets on Hoge to finish top 10 and top 20.

Looking for more long-shot bets for the Genesis Invitational? Our honorable mentions this week are Kurt Kitayama (+8000) and Tiger Woods (+10000).

Genesis Invitational odds: The favorites

The betting favorites heading into the Genesis represent the elite of the PGA Tour ranks. Scottie Scheffler is on top of the list with +650 odds to win. Rory McIlroy follows closely behind, coming into the event with odds to win of +900.

Viktor Hovland and Xander Schauffele are knotted at +1400, followed by Collin Morikawa at +1600.

You can see the top 15 in Genesis Invitational betting odds as of Monday afternoon below or head over to BetMGM to see the full list of odds and bets for this week.
