The leaderboard is tight and the drama is high as the final round of the 2023 Shriners Children’s Open tees off. With 14 players within just three shots of the top spot on the leaderboard (a three-way tie at 15-under), there’s no telling how things will unfold during Sunday’s Round 4.
While golf fans await to see how the tournament concludes, one thing that we do already know is how the $8.4 million purse will be broken down for each finishing position.
This year’s winner will earn a cool $1.512 million (which is an increase from the $1.44 million defending champion Tom Kim collected after last year’s victory), and the player finishing in 65th place will take home $18,060 — which isn’t too shabby for a weekend’s worth of work.
With Kim currently one of the player’s tied for the lead (along with Adam Hadwin and Lanto Griffin), the 21-year-old is hoping to become just the fourth player in the history of the Shriners Children’s Open to win at least two times; joining Jim Furyk (3) and Martin Laird and Kevin Na (2) as the only repeat winners.
As we await to see who comes out on top following Sunday’s final round, take a look below at how the 2023 Shriners Children’s Open prize money will be divvied up.
