Former PGA winner is our long-shot pick at Muirfield Village: 2023 Memorial odds

For this week’s 2023 Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village, we’re picking a past PGA Champion as our long-shot pick to win. Here’s our pick, the Memorial odds and betting favorites and everything else you need to know for the week.

Memorial odds: Long-shot bet

For this week’s highly-anticipated designated event at Muirfield Village, we’re going with Keegan Bradley at +6600 odds-to-win as our long shot to take home the $3.6 million winner’s check.

Bradley, the 2011 PGA Champion, already has a win this season, claiming the Zozo Championship in October. He finished runner-up at the Farmers Insurance Open in January and has collected two other top-10s.

In 12 appearances at the Memorial, Bradley has two top-10s and seven made cuts in all. Most recently, Bradley recorded a T29 at the PGA Championship before taking last week off.

Should you bet $10 on Keegan to win and he pulls it off, you’ll take home $660. For insurance bets or ones with less risk, consider putting some money on Bradley to finish in the top 10 and top 20.

How last week’s long shot fared

At last week’s Charles Schwab Challenge, we identified Kurt Kitayama as our long shot to win, with pre-tournament odds of +6600. Kitayama didn’t come out of the gate strongly, making the cut on the number to earn a spot on the weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday he put together respectable rounds of 71 and 68 to finish T29 at even par, just one shot short of a top-20 finish.
