Harry Hall looked like he was set to fade into the background of the Charles Schwab Championship after back-to-back doubles early in Round 3 turned the overnight leader by 3 into the chaser. However, almost everyone struggled at a tough Colonial Saturday.

The PGA Tour rookie steadied himself over the final nine holes, coming home in 2 under 33 to grab a share of the lead heading into the final round for the first time in his PGA Tour career.

He’s joined at the top at 10 under by Adam Schenk, who drained a 16-foot putt on 18 to get into the final group for Sunday. Also in the mix is Harris English in solo third at nine under, and Viktor Hovland, who posted one of the rounds of the day of 66 to get to five under.
