2022 Wells Fargo final round preview
It’s Sunday at the Wells Fargo Championship, and Max Homa is looking for his first PGA Tour victory since the 2021 Fortinet Invitational. The pro game’s preeminent Twitter celebrity enters the final round at TPC Potomac just two strokes off the lead after managing to survive a soggy slog during Saturday’s third round.
Homa (-6) trails only Keegan Bradley (-8), the former major winner and Vermont native. Bradley (67) was one of the few players to survive Saturday’s wild conditions with a round under par. Now, he enters Sunday looking for his first victory since the 2018 BMW Championship.
