He hasn’t been the same since — falling all the way to 249th in the world after climbing as high as 7th in the lead-up to Augusta National. On Sunday though, Molinari will look to flip the script, grabbing a victory at the American Express — site of one of his three top-10 finishes in 2021.

To do so, he’ll have to chase down Lee Hodges and Paul Barjon, who enter Sunday tied for the lead at 18 under apiece. Also in contention, Tom Hoge (-17) and Seamus Power (-16) look to build on strong early-year performances in La Quinta. And a host of big names join Molinari at 15 under, including Harry Higgs, Harold Varner III, and Lanto Griffin.
