We’re at the halfway point of the 2021 Zurich Classic of New Orleans, and the teams who made the cut are ready for Round 3 on Saturday. You can find complete third round tee times at the bottom of this post.
Notable groupings for Zurich Classic Round 3
There are a lot of accomplished players in the field at this year’s Zurich Classic, but Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson make up one of only two teams that sport two major champions. The high-powered grouping is paying off so far. Through two rounds in New Orleans, Team Rose/Stenson is at 11 under, right near the top of the leaderboard.
But two teams appear one spot higher than Rose and Stenson. Both Tony Finau and Cameron Champ, and Viktor Hovland and Kris Ventura were able to reach 13 under by the end of Round 2 on Friday, leaving them tied for the lead heading into Moving Day. Those four players will tee off in Saturday’s final grouping at 12:45 p.m. ET.
