The 2021 Valero Texas Open kicks off Thursday, April 1, at TPC San Antonio in Texas. You can find full first round tee times at the bottom of this post.

Notable groupings for Valero Texas Open Round 1

Texas native Jordan Spieth rarely misses a tournament in his home state, even the week before the Masters, so he’s in the field this week at the Valero Texas Open. And with his great play of late, can you blame him? The three-time major champ has turned his game around in 2021, already recording four top-10s including a T9 at last week’s WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play.

Spieth will begin his quest for PGA Tour win No. 12 on Thursday at 9:09 a.m. ET off the 10th tee at TPC San Antonio’s Oaks Course. He’ll play the first and second round alongside Ryan Palmer and Corey Conners.

Other notable groupings for the opening round include Rickie Fowler, Gary Woodland and Scottie Scheffler (8:58 a.m. ET); Phil Mickelson, Matt Kuchar and Hideki Matsuyama (2:04 p.m. ET); Tony Finau, Joel Dahmen, Cameron Champ (1:53 p.m. ET); and Zach Johnson, Sebastián Muñoz and Pat Perez (2:26 p.m. ET).
