The 2021 Sony Open in Hawaii — the first full-field PGA Tour event of the new year — continues on Friday, January 15. You can find full second round tee times at the bottom of this post.
Notable pairings for Sony Open Round 2
Red numbers were abundant on opening day at Waialae CC, with three players firing rounds of 8-under 62 to sit atop the leaderboard: Peter Malnati, Jason Kokrak and Joaquin Niemann. The trio leads the rest of the field by two shots.
Niemann is coming off a strong showing at last week’s Sentry Tournament of Champions, where he lost a playoff to Harris English. Niemann will play the second round with Sergio Garcia and Hideki Matsuyama at 1:00 p.m. ET.
Malnati will play alongside Rory Sabbatini and J.J. Spaun at 5:00 p.m. ET, and Kokrak will tee it up with Lanto Griffin and Michael Kim at 12:50 p.m. ET.
