2021 Sony Open in Hawaii tee times: Second round groupings for Friday

The 2021 Sony Open in Hawaii the first full-field PGA Tour event of the new year continues on Friday, January 15. You can find full second round tee times at the bottom of this post.

Notable pairings for Sony Open Round 2

Red numbers were abundant on opening day at Waialae CC, with three players firing rounds of 8-under 62 to sit atop the leaderboard: Peter Malnati, Jason Kokrak and Joaquin Niemann. The trio leads the rest of the field by two shots.

Niemann is coming off a strong showing at last week’s Sentry Tournament of Champions, where he lost a playoff to Harris English. Niemann will play the second round with Sergio Garcia and Hideki Matsuyama at 1:00 p.m. ET.

Malnati will play alongside Rory Sabbatini and J.J. Spaun at 5:00 p.m. ET, and Kokrak will tee it up with Lanto Griffin and Michael Kim at 12:50 p.m. ET.

Other notable pairings for the second round include Matt Kuchar, Adam Scott and Harris English (5:40 p.m. ET); Collin Morikawa, Webb Simpson and Marc Leishman (5:50 p.m. ET); Cameron Smith, Sungjae Im and Carlos Ortiz (5:30 p.m. ET); and Ryan Palmer, Keegan Bradley and Austin Cook (5:50 p.m. ET);
