The 2021 Ryder Cup officially kicks off Friday, September 24, at Whistling Straits. Here’s what you need to know to watch all of Friday’s Day 1 matches on TV or online.

Previewing Ryder Cup Day 1

There is always a lot of intensity and excitement for the Ryder Cup, but all of the excitement has been ratcheted up given the long wait for this year’s competition after it was delayed an extra year for the Covid-19 pandemic. Quality storylines and questions abound leading into the first day of matches.

Can the high-powered U.S. team, which features eight of the Top 10 players in the Official World Golf Ranking, overcome recent history and follow through with their superior talent? Or will the European team once again shock the world and show they are the top dogs in team golf?

The U.S. team is hoping they can take advantage of home soil and the raucous partisan crowds in Wisconsin to bring the Ryder Cup back to the States. They’ll count on Ryder Cup stalwarts like Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth to make it happen, along with help from talented rookies like Collin Morikawa and FedEx Cup champion Patrick Cantlay.

Below you will find everything you need to watch Day 1 of the 2021 Ryder Cup on Friday.
