Previewing Rocket Mortgage Classic Final Round

Rickie Fowler has been working tirelessly to get his game back into winning form, and the process seems to be working this week in Detroit. Fowler went out Saturday morning and fired a four-under 68 in Round 3 at the Rocket Mortgage. That pushed him to nine under for the tournament, putting him T15 heading into Sunday.

Fowler will begin the final round at Detroit Golf Club trailing by five shots, which is not an insurmountable margin on the scoreable setup. The 54-hole lead is shared by two PGA Tour champions: Joaquin Niemann and Troy Merritt, who are knotted at 14 under. Another dozen players are within four shots of that pair’s lead.
